Destination Saipan

Saipan is the largest island in the Northern Mariana Islands archipelago. It is located about 120 mi (190 km) north of Guam and 5 nautical miles (9.3 km) northeast of Tinian, from which it is separated by the Saipan Channel. The western side of the island is lined with sandy beaches and an offshore coral reef which creates a large lagoon. The eastern shore is composed primarily of rugged rocky cliffs and a reef.

The Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands is a US territory, made up of 14 islands in the western pacific. Colorful flame trees dot the landscape during springtime in this small but attractive archipelago. Beautiful beaches and clear waters entice visitors from both east and west. Yearly festivals that celebrate both local and some international cultural events ensure that your stay will be both memorable and fun. One of World War II’s greatest Pacific battles was fought here, thus the destination is steeped in rich military history.
